In this paper we utilized clinical and genomic data to see if we could better define distinct groups of patients under the big umbrella of that we call lupus. We found 3 groups  that varied from mild manifestations to more severe manifestations. In this study, we examined the quality of clinical care for kidney disease (lupus nephritis) across 25 clinical sites. We found the quality of healthcare for those with lupus nephritis was high in the Bay Area.
